Application with Eligibility

ACIC-BMU invites applications from innovators/startups round the year and lays emphasis on the following while considering the applications for admission.

1. Potential to create impact, social and economic.
2. Innovation and IP component.
3. High growth potential and impacts.
4. Credentials the core team to execute the project.
5. Potential to engage the students, staff, and faculty of the university.

Certain programs may have their own eligibility norms and criteria for selection which will be as defined by the particular program.

Note: Please note that ACIC-BMU is not liable to any misconduct due to the sharing of the idea and no NDA will be signed. The submission shall entirely be done upon your own will and shall not bind us in any way. Admission to ACIC-BMU or any of its programs is subject to completion of satisfactory review process. ACIC-BMU will have the sole discretion on whether to admit or reject a proposal for incubation and the decision of ACIC-BMU in this regard shall be final. ACIC-BMU will not be bound to give any reason in case a proposal is rejected.

Periodic Assessment
ACIC-BMU will evaluate the performance of incubatee startups on a periodic basis. Incubatee startups will submit information to ACIC-BMU in a prescribed format. The startups may also be subject to assessment by a committee of experts, including external.

A startup which has taken seed funds will have to submit additional information as may be asked by ACIC-BMU. The undisbursed portion of the seed loan will be adjusted subject to the performance of the company. Incubatee startups will have to submit their progress/annual reports to ACIC-BMU.
