Entrepreneurship, Innovation And Society Conference [EIS] International Conference on Shaping the Smart Future through AI, Sustainability & Inclusive Innovation

On behalf of the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I2E) and BML Munjal University, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the fourth edition of The International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Society (EIS 4.0). I extend my sincere congratulations to the entire team for successfully advancing this flagship global initiative.

Our university was established to nurture changemakers to lead with purpose, and EIS 4.0 embodies this by focusing on the crucial theme: “Shaping the Smart Future through AI, Sustainability & Inclusive Innovation.”

Entrepreneurship is a vital engine for economic growth, yet the path to success is challenging. While India has firmly established itself as the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, studies show that a significant majority of new ventures face failure. This makes the research and frameworks discussed at EIS 4.0 even more important: our goal is to find academic and practical solutions that can tangibly improve startup survival rates and sustain the current entrepreneurial boom.

This conference is unique in its integration of theory and practice, which is the cornerstone of the education at BML Munjal University. It directly ties research to action by culminating in a Start-up Pitch Fest, where ideas born in the academic realm are stress-tested in the real world, connecting innovators with investors and mentors.

Furthermore, we recognize that entrepreneurship is no longer confined to founding a business. Entrepreneurial thinking—characterized by innovation, risk-taking, and problem-solving—is now a highly valued and treasured skill within large corporations and traditional jobs. EIS 4.0 is dedicated to creating an ecosystem where this mindset is encouraged across all professional domains, ensuring our graduates and participants are equipped to be intrapreneurs and innovators, regardless of their chosen path.

EIS 4.0 provides a vital platform to engage with these questions by bringing together scholars, innovators, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from around the world.

Our conference tracks this year invite us to consider how innovation can remain forward-looking while being firmly rooted in human values. The special tracks further enrich the dialogue by amplifying perspectives from those shaping real-world practice.
