    Support That
    Shapes Futures

When you support BMU, you support quality higher education to become accessible for all, building future leaders and entrepreneurs who care not just for profits but also for people and the planet as well.

BMU was born from the lateral thinking of its leadership to build a foundation for job makers as much as job seekers. BMU’s thinking is reflected in its curriculum design, where experiential active learning and field immersion create an education ecosystem steeped in knowing by doing.

Our multidisciplinary courses and interdisciplinary programmes are powered by global collaborations with industry, academia and government to give each student a fertile ground to explore their full potential.

    Strategic Initiatives: Ways to Support

Education: Your Passport to the World

40% of our students are on scholarship and financial aid year on year. Access, diversity, and quality are the pillars of BMU education, and your scholarship support can give wings to students, their families, and their communities.

Where you come from does not have to define where you go. Support the education of students through our flagship scholarship programme.

Besides merit-based scholarships, scholarships for students from aspirational districts, women and girls pursuing STEM programmes, students from north-eastern Indian states and Jammu & Kashmir, students with special needs, first-generation university aspirants, and students from gender minorities are prioritised.

Some of our scholarship supporters are HMCL, HDFC, NHPC, Rockman Industries, Munjal Showa, Highways Industries and CMR Greens.

BMU Sustainability Hub: Live Consciously, Act Responsibly, Create Sustainably

Our efforts to build a sustainable campus by ingraining it in our culture and curriculum empower our students, our community and our neighbourhood to live consciously, act responsibly and create sustainably.

Critical threats to our ecology in and around BMU like water stress & pollution, biodiversity loss, energy shortage, energy wastage, increased GHG emission, resource crunch due to rapid industrialisation, excessive waste and poor waste management systems, excessive air pollution, high economic migration, etc., have triggered several tech-based innovations and community-centric designs towards sustainable solutions on and off campus.

Your support can power 5000 students and 50,000 positive externalities through our sustainable campus initiative.

Entrepreneurship: An Idea Well Seeded, Bears Fruit for Life

    Expanding Access through I-DEAR

In keeping with the legacy and vision of Dr. BML Munjal, who believed in the transformative power of education, the proposed Institute for Dialogue of Educators Action and Research (I-DEAR) seeks to empower those at the heart of the educational process: our K-12 educators. The Centre aims to facilitate dialogue, collaboration and shared learning among educators.

Drawing upon the Lamarckian Theory of Evolution, I-DEAR intends to facilitate the adaptability and evolution of teaching practices. By engaging in professional development, educators acquire new skills, methodologies and strategies.

These "acquired traits" can then be shared with their peers and passed on to future educators through mentoring, workshops, and collaborative learning. CPDE seeks to facilitate such sharing and learning by bringing seasoned teachers, experts, and senior school administrators who deeply understand the unique challenges faced in K-12 education today.

Centre for Public Policy and Governance

The Centre for Public Policy and Governance at BMU aims to develop and recommend inclusive growth models and policies that address critical challenges such as inequality, decent work and life, environmental pressures from affluent consumption, and the complexities of urbanisation.

Rooted in an interdisciplinary approach, the Centre integrates humanistic, legal, psychological, social and economic perspectives, drawing on the strengths of the School of Liberal Studies. Through research, teaching and outreach, it aspires to shape a more equitable, sustainable and resilient future for India and beyond.

Positioning itself as a thought leader in public policy with a humanistic lens, the Centre will foster dialogue and collaboration across policymakers, academia, industry and civil society, while actively engaging young learners and future policymakers.

    Infrastructure: Building for Tomorrow

The new E3 Academic Block and T6 Residential Tower will offer future-ready learning and living spaces, supporting BMU’s expanding student community and long-term growth.
