ACM BMU Student Chapter Ranked #1 in India
The ACM Student Chapter at BML Munjal University has been officially felicitated at the ACM India Annual Event held at IIT Hyderabad, emerging as the winner of the Outstanding Chapter Award. Selected from over 195 active chapters nationwide, BMU secured the #1 national ranking following a rigorous evaluation of impact, technical depth, and student leadership.
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world’s largest and most prestigious computing society and the body that confers the Turing Award, represents the gold standard in technology and research excellence.
The chapter was awarded a grant of ₹1,00,000 to further strengthen its research-led initiatives and was recognised in the presence of global leaders including Prof. Yannis Ioannidis, ACM President, and Turing Award laureate Prof. Raj Reddy.
This milestone reflects the University’s continued commitment to fostering a vibrant ecosystem of innovation, research, and student-led excellence.
