Powering the Future: BMU Launches AI & Advanced Data Computing Centre

BML Munjal University has inaugurated a state-of-the-art AI and Advanced Data Computing Centre, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward leadership in Artificial Intelligence education and research. The Centre, equipped with advanced AI data infrastructure from NVIDIA, is the outcome of a strategic partnership initiated last year to strengthen innovation, skilling, and research capabilities across North India.

The Centre was inaugurated by Mr. Gopal Krishna G S S, Business Head – Major Markets (North America) at Tata Consultancy Services, underscoring the importance of deep industry–academia collaboration in building future-ready institutions.

Envisioned as a hub for cutting-edge research and applied learning, the AI Centre will provide students and faculty access to industry-grade tools and high-performance computing resources. With a strong focus on emerging domains such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, the facility will enable hands-on experimentation, interdisciplinary research, certifications, and startup incubation.

By expanding access to advanced technologies and creating pathways from learning to leadership, the initiative reflects the University’s commitment to ensuring that opportunity and ambition grow together — empowering a wider community of learners to participate meaningfully in shaping the AI-driven future.
