TechSparX.II 2026 Showcases Student Innovation with Real-World Impact
The annual technical showcase by the School of Engineering and Technology featured nearly 95 student-led projects that transformed ideas into practical solutions addressing everyday challenges.
Held on 29 April 2026, TechSparX.II 2026 brought together around 485 B.Tech students from the 2025–29 batch under the theme ‘Idea to Prototype’. Developed as part of the Joy of Engineering (JoE) courses, the projects reflected experiential and empathy-driven learning, with students designing functional prototypes across areas such as Smart Mobility, Healthcare Technologies, IoT, AI & Public Safety, Human–Computer Interaction, and Smart Environment Systems.
Through interactive demonstrations and working prototypes, students presented technology-driven solutions with strong practical relevance while gaining valuable experience through expert feedback and evaluation. Outstanding teams were recognised under the Best Innovation Project and Best Solution Project awards, with shortlisted entries advancing for consideration under the BMU Seed Grant 2026–27 to support further development and refinement of their prototypes.
