B.Tech. (EComE) Eligibility Criteria
The B.Tech. Electronics & Computer Engineering eligibility criteria at BML Munjal University ensure candidates meet the specific academic standards required for this programme. Students must complete their 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects. They should also study one additional subject such as Chemistry, Biology or Computer Science. To meet the eligibility criteria, applicants must achieve the minimum aggregate marks set by the university. Valid scores from entrance exams like JEE strengthen the application. The candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent scores in four subjects, viz Physics, Mathematics, English and any one subject out of chemistry, Biology and Technical Vocational subjects. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks either in Physics or Mathematics is mandatory and the candidate must have cleared all the subjects to meet the eligibility criteria
For the IB Career Related programme (IBCP), Candidates in Engineering or Medical Strand graduating with 3 DP Subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or other similar subjects) with at least 1 subject at HL Level and minimum 3 points in each DP subject are eligible to apply.
For Cambridge/IGCSE examinations and examinations of the approved British Examination bodies, candidates with a minimum of five subjects and having Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics at A Level are eligible to apply
The applicant is required to have completed one of the following entrance examinations: JEE / SAT / CUET or BMU-SAT. JEE (Main), with a minimum of 55 percentile. For SAT / CUET / BMU-SAT as per scores specified from time to time.
Candidates can apply early to secure their seat, even before their Class 12 results. Note: Final admission is subject to verification of Class 12 results.
Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent from any system of education as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent and subjects as defined for candidates intending to join professional courses.
