What the Future Legal Heroes Say

My two years as Senior Student Coordinator under former high court judge J.R. Midha were nothing short of transformational. The mentor–mentee programme at BMU’s School of Law gave me direct access to his guidance. This was an experience no textbook could replicate. From deepening my understanding of arbitration to learning the importance of integrity, preparation, and ethical decision-making, this mentorship shaped not just my legal knowledge but my growth as a professional and individual. The critical thinking, analytical skills, and sense of responsibility I gained will stay with me for life. BMU’s unique mentorship model truly sets it apart.

The EU Competition Law elective at BMU was a perfect blend of theory and practice. Guided by experts like Prof. Vikas Kathuria and Maitrey Singh, the course made complex statutory provisions relatable through real-world examples (from Microsoft’s gaming moves to Ola-Uber competition). What stood out was the interactive teaching style, designed for today’s generation, where discussions were encouraged, and concepts became truly functional. This course not only built my foundation in a globally relevant field but also reinforced why BMU’s law curriculum is modern, practical, and future-facing.
