    Dr. Devanjali Relan is currently serving as Professor & Faculty Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and Associate Dean – Faculty Affairs at BML Munjal University. She is a senior academic leader with nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, academic governance and institutional administration across engineering and interdisciplinary domains. She has also completed the Certificate in Leadership in Education, Advocacy, and Policy Development Programme conducted by BITS Pilani (Aug 2025 – Jan 2026). She holds a PhD from The University of Edinburgh in Medical Image Analysis and AI, postgraduate specialization in Advanced Medical Imaging from KU Leuven, M.E. in Control & Instrumentation from Delhi College of Engineering and B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control from Kurukshetra University.

    Her research expertise lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, biomedical engineering, healthcare analytics and medical image analysis, with a strong focus on developing AI-driven solutions for healthcare diagnostics, retinal imaging and digital health applications. She has a strong track record of leading interdisciplinary and industry-collaborative research projects, including AI-driven healthcare solutions, translational research initiatives and funded projects. Recently, she received an Institutional Research Grant from Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (2026–27) for an AI-based veterinary healthcare project.

    Dr. Relan has demonstrated the ability to build strong research ecosystems and collaborations with national and international universities, hospitals and industry partners in healthcare, AI and engineering domains.
