Hosting Global Summer Series on Impactful Research & Teaching 2026

BML Munjal University successfully hosted the Global Summer Series on Impactful Research & Teaching (GSS-2026) from 18–22 May 2026. Jointly organised by the School of Management, School of Engineering and Technology, and the Office of International Affairs, the five-day event brought together over 300 participants from more than 15 countries, including academicians, researchers, industry experts, institutional leaders, and students.

Designed as a global platform for advancing research excellence, innovative teaching practices, and international collaboration, the series featured research colloquia, masterclasses, international panel discussions, networking forums, and student research presentations.

Participants explored emerging themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Healthcare Innovation, Sustainability, Industry 5.0, Digital Transformation, ESG, Data Science, Virtual Reality, Financial Technologies, and Research Ethics.

A key highlight of the event was the participation of 12 international student researchers from Australia and South Korea, reflecting BMU’s commitment to global academic mobility and cross-cultural learning. The programme also featured an international panel discussion on the future of education in the age of AI, with experts from universities across Australia, Canada, Denmark, Malaysia, Norway, the UAE, and the United Kingdom.

The series concluded with a Global Partnership Roundtable that explored opportunities for student mobility, faculty exchange, collaborative research, joint publications, and international internships. Through meaningful dialogue and interdisciplinary engagement, GSS-2026 strengthened BMU’s global academic footprint and reinforced its commitment to building a research-driven, future-ready, and internationally connected learning ecosystem.
