Ashima Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law. She read her Masters in Constitutional & Administrative Law from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and is currently pursuing her Doctoral research in the field of Animal Legal Studies from O.P. Jindal Global University. Ashima has previously taught at Gujarat Maritime University, Gandhinagar and at SVKM’S NMIMS (Deemed-To-Be) University, Navi Mumbai. Before joining BML Munjal University, Ashima was an Associated Member of the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict, Ruhr University, Germany, where she was working on drawing a comparative analysis of the legal position of animals in India and Germany.
