    Shayequa Z Ali is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Law. Her research interests are in agricultural economics, labour, poverty, inequality, gender and public policy. Prior to joining BMU, Shayequa has been a researcher at several institutions including National Council of Applied Economic Research, Centers for International Projects Trust and National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research. She has presented her research in national and international conferences and published them in journals and books. She was an ICSSR Doctoral Fellow in 2017-18 and her thesis dealt with employment and productivity in unorganised food manufacturing since the 1990s in India.
