School of Law & NALSAR University of Law hosted Courts and Constitution Conference’26
The School of Law at BML Munjal University, in collaboration with NALSAR University of Law, hosted the 7th edition of the Courts and Constitution Conference from 28th to 29th March 2026, bringing together leading voices from academia and legal practice.
The two-day conference served as a platform for rigorous dialogue on key constitutional issues, with scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders engaging in discussions that connected legal theory with contemporary challenges. The sessions reflected a strong emphasis on examining real-world implications of constitutional principles through diverse perspectives.
Faculty members from the School of Law, including Professors Pritam Baruah, Pankhuri Agrawal, Shardool Kulkarni, and Shagun Bhargava, played an active role in shaping these conversations. They moderated and participated in panel discussions covering themes such as federalism, judicial accountability, punishment and state violence, as well as the MP Singh Memorial panel.
By fostering collaboration between institutions and encouraging active academic engagement with pressing legal questions, the conference reinforced the importance of dialogue-driven learning and its relevance to the evolving legal landscape.
