Strengthening Global Impact in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026
BML Munjal University has strengthened its position on the global stage by securing a place among the Top 200 universities worldwide for Multi-Dimensional Global Impact in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026. The University has also advanced to the 401–600 global band, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards creating meaningful impact through education, research, and innovation.
This year, BMU expanded its participation from four to seven United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), demonstrating the breadth of its contribution to addressing global challenges. The University also earned Top 200 global rankings for SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), reflecting its focus on research, responsible innovation, industry collaboration, and sustainable development.
The recognition underscores BMU’s commitment to creating knowledge that is rooted in local relevance while contributing to global progress. Through interdisciplinary learning, impactful research, strong industry partnerships, and a culture of innovation, the University continues to prepare graduates to address complex challenges with purpose, responsibility, and a global perspective.
