UDAAN: Idea to Impact 2-day Entrepreneurship Boot Camp

A two-day Idea to Impact boot camp, UDAAN, supported by Aavishkaar Foundation and conducted in collaboration with BML Munjal University through its incubator, ACIC–BMU Foundation, brought together 29 students in 8 teams from across Uttar Pradesh for an intensive entrepreneurship-focused programme.

The boot camp opened with sessions by Prof. Davinder Singh, CEO of ACIC–BMU, and Prof. Deepak Pandit, I2E Chair Professor, who highlighted the importance of experiential learning and shared insights from their entrepreneurial journeys. The programme then moved into a series of structured, mentor-led engagements, including problem identification, validation exercises, and solution development workshops, enabling participants to refine their ideas in real time.

Participants also attended a communication masterclass aimed at strengthening their ability to present and position their ideas effectively. Exposure to university innovation facilities, including EV Lab and Robotics Lab, provided further context to the application of technology in problem-solving.

On the second day, students visited the Hero plant, where they engaged with industry leaders and observed operational practices firsthand. Through a guided exercise, participants connected their ideas to real-world business environments.

The initiative underscored the value of immersive, practice-oriented learning supported by close collaboration between academia, industry, and partner organisations, enabling students to move from ideation to actionable solutions.
