BMU’s School of Law is BCI Approved
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world where efforts to understand and define the changing dynamics of economic, technological and financial environments is already underway, there is an urgent need for a much deeper understanding of the legal environment as well.
Emerging trends and interpretations in areas such as social media, artificial intelligence, human cloning, and stem-cell research have strong legal implications, yet an ecosystem for this is currently lacking in several developing countries.
Existing law schools in the country are still oriented towards theory-based learning, whereas the need of the hour is the dissemination of practical and research-based legal knowledge.
This is where BMU steps in with a curriculum and pedagogy based on innovation, creativity, multidisciplinary approach and experiential learning. BMU’s School of Law offers a higher level of understanding of the complex nature of the problems in society and equip students to provide solutions in the years to come.
BMU seeks to create a world-class law school that can inspire law graduates and faculty to take up research and legal academia, and not just corporate careers and legal professions.
