MBA 1st year students went for Industrial Visit to Varun Beverages,Bhiwadi on 27th November’ 18. It was the first visit to the industrial plant for many of the students.

The students went through the entire process of how the products (i.e. Cola, Water and Slice) are produced, bottles are moulded, labelled and further packed for export. They also came to know about the price discrimination, how the prices are different at different places. (Eg. Prices are considerably high at Airport) Students had a question and answer session with the plant engineer. The plant engineer also informed the students on the Fixed and Variable costs of the products are calculated.

The students also visited the company’s garden which is a part of their CSR activity. Students at BMU participate in many CSR activities. This was an opportunity for them to get more ideas to help the society.

Overall, it was a learning experience and many of them gained a lot of exposure from the industrial visit.
