    Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) is the application of science and mathematics to practical problems in the field of electronics and communications. Electronics and communications engineers engage in research, design, development and testing of the electronic equipment used in various systems. This field is closely aligned with Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and the advances in CSE play a significant role in the advancement of ECE. This is why a degree in ECE is always in high demand.

    This branch primarily deals with areas such as:

    • Analog transmission
    • Basic electronics
    • Solid state devices
    • Microprocessors and microcontrollers
    • Digital and analog communication
    • Analog integrated circuits
    • Satellite communication
    • Microwave engineering
    • Antennae and wave progression.

    It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment.

    Career Prospect

    BMU trains students to design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment.     • Radio Frequency Engineer

    • Production Engineer
    • Electronics Engineer
    • Design Engineer

    Additionally, engineering graduates are also eligible to apply for government jobs. Graduates can apply for excellent positions in DRDO, ISRO, BARC, CSIR, etc.

    • Duration : 4 years
    • Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent
    • Admission Process

      Applicants will have to go through the following process:

      • Submission of completed application form with all relevant enclosures and application fee
      • Review of applications and short-listing of candidates
      • Personal interview
      • Admission decision taken by the selection committee

      The decision to short-list applicants for a personal interview and group discussion and make a formal offer of admission thereafter will be taken by the selection committee. The committee’s decision in this regard is final and binding.
