International Immersion

International Immersion Programme (IIP) is an optional module offered for students during their degree programme. The IIP facilitates a global and progressive learning environment for students. The programme focusses on providing students an international exposure by learning from some of the best academicians in the world. It also serves as a platform to meet their foreign peers and exchange ideas and practices for a holistic development.At BMU School of Engineering & Technology, students get an opportunity to go for their International Immersion programme at the University of Warwick. The IIP can be opted along with the BTech & BSc Computer Science programmes.

International Immersion Programme for BTech students (2022-26 batch)
Institution University of Warwick
Duration 2-3 weeks
Timing June – Aug
Courses 1 course, 62 hrs. teaching and 68 hours independent study
Students can choose from the list of courses being offered
Credit transfer – 3-4 credits
Classes held at Warwick University
Approximately 4 hrs. classes per day for 15 days
Evaluation – combination of group and individual assessments, including final examination/presentations
Experiential learning – part of curriculum as projects/assignments
Social In class & on-campus interaction with students across globe
Out of class activities organized by University of Warwick (can be ticketed)
Accommodation Would be arranged by students. BMU will share the list of possible accommodations in university hostels or near to university.
Included in Global Module fee Tuition for 1 course
Travel (Airfare and taxi)
Exclusions (paid by student) Visa, stay, meals, etc. BMU would assist in organizing the documents and group air travel arrangements
Local travel
Sightseeing, Tickets/charges for social programs organized by the University of Warwick
Fees Rs. 2.5-3 lakhs (includes tuition and travel only)
